Sojourn's focus on individual vineyards allows this bottling to show the character of Rodgers Creek rather than simply presenting a broad Sonoma Coast blend. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor 2022, Sojourn used 20% whole clusters during fermentation and aged the wine in 50% new French oak. The result is a powerful, site-driven Pinot Noir with the richness expected from this vineyard balanced by the tension created by its cool, windy environment. Owen Bargreen highlighted its concentrated texture and underlying tension, while Wine Enthusiast found black cherry, plum skin, forest floor and sarsaparilla on the nose, followed by blackberry, cedar, sage and anise.
