The 2016 Chateau Guiraud is a Premier Grand Cru Classé Sauternes, produced by one of the appellation's most distinguished estates. Located in the heart of Sauternes, Château Guiraud has been a pioneer in biodiversity and organic viticulture, becoming the first Premier Grand Cru Classé in the region to receive organic certification in 2011. The 2016 vintage is composed of 65% Sémillon and 35% Sauvignon Blanc, revealing layers of lemon tart, white peach, candied citrus, honey, and exotic fruit, balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, elegant finish. Rich yet remarkably fresh, this classic Sauternes has the structure and concentration to develop beautifully with age.
