2023 El Sueño de la Alondra Ribera del Duero Spain

El Sueño de la Alondra 2023 is the personal, small-production project of winemaker Silvia González García in Ribera del Duero. Made from 100% Tempranillo from high-altitude vineyards around Olmos de Peñafiel, this is not your typical over-the-top Ribera del Duero. It is restrained, elegant and beautifully balanced, with red and black fruit, floral notes, fine spice and polished oak. Hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and naturally stabilized with minimal intervention — the tannins are silky, the freshness keeps everything in place, and the wine finishes long without feeling heavy. A more refined and elegant expression of Ribera del Duero, with the personality of a true small-production winemaker behind it.
