The 2018 vintage brings together 44% Merlot, 40% Petite Sirah, 14% Syrah, creating a powerful yet balanced combination of Bordeaux and Rhone-inspired varieties. The Griffin takes its name from the Foley family crest in Irish heraldry, where the mythical griffin combines the strength of a lion with the majesty of an eagle. The wine is deeply colored, with aromas of ripe red and black fruit, blackberry, black cherry, cedar, and subtle savory notes.
