The 2020 God Only Knows Grenache from Cayuse Vineyards is an expressive, small-production red wine sourced from Armada Vineyard in Washington’s Walla Walla Valley. Made primarily from Grenache with a small amount of Syrah, it was aged for 21 months in neutral French oak, allowing the fruit and distinctive vineyard character to shine.
Aromas and flavors of wild strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, black cherry, lavender, savory herbs and crushed stone are layered with notes of smoked meat and orange zest. Silky tannins, lively acidity and a refined, mineral-driven finish make this an elegant yet complex wine. Pair it with roast lamb, grilled meats, herb-seasoned poultry or aged cheeses.
