Made from fruit associated with the Ontiveros family, whose roots in the region span nine generations, this single-vineyard bottling reflects the area’s savory, herb-driven character and James Ontiveros’s focus on expressing the place through Pinot Noir.

The 2021 vintage opens with rustic sagebrush and earthy leather aromas, followed by concentrated cherry. On the palate, savory thyme and fennel pollen complement strawberry and orange peel, creating a layered profile that balances ripe fruit with herbal complexity. Medium-bodied, spicy and structured, with lightly grippy tannins, this Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roast duck, herb-seasoned poultry, grilled mushrooms and savory meat dishes.
