2020 Ossian 'Quintaluna' Verdejo, Castilla y León, Spain
Quintaluna is the pure expression of Verdejo from the sandy soils of Segovia. Produced by Ossian, this wine is made using grapes from very old vines (some over 100 years old) that are organically farmed. Unlike mass-produced Verdejo, Quintaluna is fermented with native yeasts and aged on its fine lees in stainless steel and small oak vats for 9 months. This process results in a wine with remarkable texture, vibrant acidity, and a deep mineral core that truly represents the high-altitude terroir of northern Spain.
