Crafted by Bodegas Valduero, Una Cepa is an expressive Ribera del Duero red made from 100% Tempranillo, known locally as Tinto Fino. Its name reflects the winery’s remarkable approach: each vine produces enough grapes for just one bottle.
Sourced from more than 50-year-old vines at Finca El Charcón, the grapes grow in clay and limestone soils at approximately 842 meters above sea level. Hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts, the wine matures for 18 months in oak barrels of different origins, followed by at least 12 months in bottle, developing depth and complexity while preserving the character of the vineyard.
Rich, structured, and elegant, Una Cepa is an excellent match for grilled steaks, roasted lamb, aged cheeses, and Iberian cured meats.
