The 2022 Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich and polished expression of Napa Valley, sourced from the winery's estate vineyards and select grower partners, with a significant portion of the blend coming from Rutherford. The 2022 growing season began with dry conditions and a cool spring, followed by near-ideal weather through much of the summer. A Labor Day heat wave accelerated harvest and contributed to one of Sequoia Grove's earliest and most concentrated vintages.

Aromas of cherries, pomegranate, pluots, and bramble lead to a smooth, lush palate layered with dry herbs and juicy black raspberry. Notes of blackberry jam, black pepper, tobacco, and refined cocoa powder add depth to the elegant, medium-to-full-bodied finish.
