The 2022 Tamber Bey Rabicano is an estate-grown Bordeaux-style red blend from Deux Chevaux Vineyard in Yountville, Napa Valley. Rabicano is Tamber Bey's original Bordeaux-style blend, showcasing fruit from its 60-acre estate vineyard, where Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec benefit from warm sunny days, cooling morning fog and strong afternoon winds. The 2022 blend is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec and was aged for 19 months in French oak.
Rich and full-bodied, Rabicano displays layers of wild blackberry, blueberry compote, tobacco, licorice, sweet spice and dried herbs, with subtle chocolate and oak nuances. Its balanced acidity, integrated tannins and concentrated finish give the wine both depth and elegance. It pairs especially well with dry-aged beef, lamb, blue cheese, mushrooms, spinach and roasted vegetables.
