The 2023 Le Volte dell’Ornellaia is a vibrant and approachable red from Ornellaia, one of Tuscany’s most renowned estates in the Bolgheri area. Created as an accessible introduction to the Ornellaia style, Le Volte combines the estate’s passion for quality with a fresh, versatile character designed for everyday enjoyment. The 2023 blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, with the wine aged for 10 months partly in used barrels previously used for Ornellaia and partly in concrete tanks.

Expressive aromas of ripe blueberry and blackberry lead to generous dark-fruit flavors balanced by fresh acidity and silky tannins. The wine is smooth, elegant and easy to enjoy, with a persistent finish that makes it especially versatile at the table. It pairs well with grilled beef, roasted chicken, pasta with tomato-based sauces, pizza, charcuterie and aged cheeses.
