The 2023 Paso D'Oro Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied Paso Robles red crafted from 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Petite Sirah. Created by winemaker Laura Orozco, the wine showcases the warm, expressive character of Paso Robles with ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry, and hibiscus aromas complemented by vanilla, cinnamon, and clove.
The palate is rich and approachable, with juicy dark fruit, coffee, baking spice, and a supple texture supported by balanced acidity and velvety tannins. Aged in American oak for six months, it is an easy-drinking yet substantial California Cabernet that pairs well with grilled steak, burgers, barbecue, roasted beef, lamb, hearty pasta, and aged cheeses.
