2024 Nala VC Blanco Selección from boutique winery Vega Clara reveals a rare white-wine side of Ribera del Duero: an equal blend of Albillo Mayor and Pirulés from 60–70-year-old vines scattered among red-grape plantings in Anguix, Burgos. Organic and sustainably grown, this brilliant golden white combines pineapple and lychee aromas with lively acidity, generous volume, and a rich, creamy texture, a distinctive bottle at Happy Wine Calle Ocho to pair with oven-roasted fish.
Aged on its lees for more than 12 months in 500-liter French oak barrels, with just 750 bottles produced. Blend: 50% Albillo Mayor, 50% Pirulés. Alcohol: 14%. Vineyard yield: 2,000 kg per hectare.
