Maruja Manzanilla Pasada En Rama is a distinctive expression of traditional Manzanilla from Sanlucar de Barrameda, crafted by Bodegas Juan Pinero from 100% Palomino Fino. Selected from the oldest part of the Maruja solera, the wine has an average age of more than 15 years and comes from the Pago del Hornillo, where the vineyards are planted in characteristic albariza soils. Extended biological aging under flor gives the wine remarkable depth and complexity, combining intense saline minerality with notes of chamomile, toasted almond, honey, citrus peel, and subtle spice. Bottled en rama with minimal filtration, it preserves the intensity and character of the wine as it comes from the cask. Dry, savory, and exceptionally persistent, it is a beautiful match for fresh seafood, oysters, sushi, cured fish, Iberian ham, and salty appetizers.
